Samba Fresh Perfume by Perfumers Workshop, Perfumer workshop’s samba fresh for women is a rejuvenating mélange of fruit and flora that captivates the senses and rejuvenates the soul. The ladies’ fragrance consists of breezy blossoms and zesty citruses that swirl into a blend of tantalizing chypre, oozing with allure and desire. Its clean and airy light smell is not overpowering, which makes it perfect for chilling with your friends or for professional environments. It is also ideal for people with sensitive noses, as its scent is not bothersome to the olfactory. The 100ml aqueous perfume is housed in a yellow multifaceted and rounded pyramid flacon, which is contained in a standard carton box adorned by its label and the bottle’s image floating on water. Samba fresh has three note tiers that all contain sweet accords. Despite giving off sweetness, each tier emits different types of sweetness – the top a floral kind, the heart a fruity vibe, and the base a musky aroma. Its head notes open with accords of freesia and jasmine. This floral combo packs a sylvan combination of botanical scents, but individually, each flower contributes a unique trait. Freesia gives a powdery quality to the mix while jasmine adds a calming attribute to the top tier. The duo of blooms is complemented by its citrus heart accords, which are composed of mandarin orange and peach. While the top notes offer an herbaceous and flowery flavor, the core notes add a tangy zest to the blend. Mandarin orange gives a honeyed pungency while peach injects a natural sugary facet. The base notes include musk and amber. The super glace quality of amber is accentuated by musk’s masculine fervor, which balance each other out to produce a seductive aphrodisiac. Perfumer’s workshop was established in 1970 and is known as the first company to custom blend scents on a large scale. The privately owned company is based in new york, and is the brainchild of the tea rose fragrance, which is used by famous names such as the late princess diana, nicole kidman, and princess grace of monaco. I use this product when I will be in a confined area as it is not overpowering. It has a clean light smell. It does not last very long.

I Love Samba!

Samba Fresh is one of the many variations of Perfume Workshop's original SAMBA. Fresh has a bit more citrusy zing than the others, which makes it nice for a day when you are having close contact with others or will work in an enclosed space. All the Samba fragrances are a great value for the money, and are all just a bit different from each other. Indulge yourself and get at least two different ones to mix it up.

What a Lovely Scent for Day or Office!

I work as a professional woman, and am in close contact with people all day long. I need to have a scent that people associate with cleanliness and professionalism, and doesn't distract or detract from what I am trying to accomplish. SAMBA NATURAL is wonderful. It dries down to a nice mixture of scents and smells differently on every person. Best of all, people can't smell you five minutes after you leave a room, and don't get carsick if you ride the elevator or mass transit. You smell feminine, and the scent lasts throughout the working day. You do NOT smell sickenly sweet, too young for responsibility, or too sexy. Clean, distinctive, correct, and not overpowering. Great choice for work or daytime for all ages. Highly recommend.
