I hated getting my People mag with perfume inserts but bless the day it arrived with the insert of Addict. I instantly fell in love with it and told my husband I MUST have it, it was absolutely dreamy. I had never ever bought an expensive perfume before always cheap stuff in the cheap retail stores but I was willing to pay the higher price for Addict I just LOVED the scent and oh my my the compliments I got from people when I started wearing it. The guard at work even followed me from his desk at work one morning to the elevator just to smell me, haha, what a compliment that was. I than discovered the ease of buying it online for less and have been doing so for years now. I have not worn any other perfume since I discovered Addict and I'm pretty sure I never will, it truly is appropriately named. Thank you Christian Dior!

    This starts out very, very powdery and strong. After a half hour, the vanilla breaks through and remains throughout the entire wear. The powder with vanilla smells soft and cozzy,
    Around the 90 minute mark, the sandalwood and tonka bean finally mix with the vanilla, making it warmer and alluring and, yes, sexier. It's still smells sweet, but at least it doesn't smell like syrupy vanilla. My nose doesn't catch any of the floral middle notes. It's like the vanilla just jumped forward, snuffed out and smothered any floral trying to pop out, and then had to wait for the other base notes to catch up. I do like oriental fragrances with a nice dose of warm vanilla, so I actually really really like the tonka bean, sandalwood, and vanilla mixture--very inviting and delicious! There's something about the initial powdery opening that reminds me of JPG Classique (without the star anise), and there's something about the vanilla/blackberry dry down that reminds me of Hanae Mori Hanae Mori.

    Sillage is impressive! It also lasts for several hours. I'm a fan of the dry down! It's warm, deliciously sweet, and sexy 5/5

        In autumn and winter time this scent is just mine mine mine (Mine-mine summer one is Samsara).
        It warms me up and makes people around feel warm. It is intriguing. It discloses its secret accents in many ways, depending on where I am and what I do. Not only it is really long lasting, it leaves a wonderful smell on clothes, and, more important, I do not get used to it: I feel it on my body all day long.

        This is a scent that wouldn't fit everybody: I think one must be a brave, smart, definitely sexy and slightly misbehaving lady to get aligned with it.

        I hope it never gets discontinued since this is the top of the classics I want to stay with me like forever.
