Balenciaga is a fashion house that was founded by Spanish Basque Designer Cristobal Balenciaga Eizaguirre. He was known to be one of the few designers that could cut and sew his own designs. Though successful in Spain, he moved to Paris due to the Spanish Civil War. He helped inspire the popularity of tunic dresses, chemise dresses, and empire waistlines. He released his first fragrance in 1947. It was called Le Dix and was named after the address of his first boutique in Paris. All products are original, authentic name brands. Really, really good
Absolutely lovely... spicy, slightly green (not pungent), floral. Belongs to a class of perfume of which very few can still be found these days. Perhaps because they smell above these age... Exquisite smelling, complex, nothing jarring or plasticky. Doesn't last very long though, and the drydown is not so splendid.

Sadly I was introduced to this perfume as it was being discontinued and am now unable to buy the standard size - unless the site manages to get it. please please get some larger bottles.

Not So Dramatic
Even 4 tiny bottles of the0.16 oz don't add up to a 1.7oz full bottle of this intoxicating scent that I am so addicted to! Why can't this company get their hands on a Full-size bottle?? Or, better yet, if the demand is there, why can't Balenciaga start production up on Cristobal? Right?

The best perfume ever!
This perfume is perfect for evening wear, because it's quite romantic. It's a seasonal kind of perfume, especially suitable for Winter season or late Autumn. The Oriental/spicy scent note gives a sensual feeling!

THE MOST FANTASTIC AND UNIQUE FRAGRANCE
THIS IS THE VERY BEST PARFUME THAT I EVER HAD, SMELLED IT IN MY FRIENDS BATHROOM ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO , BOUGHT IT AND COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF THE SMELL JUST LIKE MY SURROUNDINGS. UNFORTUNATELY I CAN'T BUY IT ANYWHERE. THE GENTS ONE IT'S FANTASTIC TOO. IT WORKS THE BEST WHEN A COUPLE WEAR IT TOGETHER, BECAUSE IT COMPLIMENTS EACH OTHER. MY BOYFRIEND LOVES IT TOO AS THE BEST FRAGRANCE. WILL SWAO IT FOR PRADA, GUCCI, DIESEL, THIERY MUGLER ETC. SAME AS ME

My favourite frangrance
My first and most incredible scent. I love it till now, because of taste of dreamy Autumn flowers blooming - of which it gets me the reminescence still:) It has a very strong romantic blush of blooming flowers bouquet, mixed with sweet and weighed to the proportion vanilla spice. It reveals it's beauty in the moist and soft Autumn air most, when you get the first chilles and there the first traces of frost appear. It gives very feminine and a bit melancholic, yet sweet and pleasent taste. I loved it for my daily wear, and it gave me the most pleasure while wearing it on my skin and sensing it... Felt like extension of myself.

Where would I be if ever I could not buy this gorgeous fragrance? You must have a spare bottle in case you run out. Apply liberally and frantically and finish off with the body lotion. You will feel great all day long.

The smell is amazing
I use the perfume every day, and have had men and ladies commenting on the wonderful smell. It's not over powering, yet it lasts all day, when I'm running around after drivers they still say I smell nice at the end of a long day....
