Bijan, the famous men’s fashion house founded by Bijan Pakzad, opened its first men’s fashion boutique on Rodeo Drive in 1976. The Persian designer moved to the United States in 1973 and partnered with Dar Mahboubi to start the now famous brand. The boutique became famous for its ground-breaking men’s fashion and “by appointment only” showroom. Eventually, the brand expanded to accessories and fragrances for men and women. The designer was famous for his opulent lifestyle and inspiring designs. After his death in 2011, his daughter, Daniela, who has been the Creative Director since 1984, and his two other children, have played important roles in the family business. Along with business partner, Mahboubi, Pakzad’s children continue to run the brand with the same ingenuity and passion that he put into that first exclusive boutique in Beverly Hills. An appealing new fagrance jaunt for me .
I usually stick close to home with fragrances that have used for years so I'm not sure why I tried this but I did and maybe it's my aging inner hippie that the patchouli and nutmeg and vanilla etc appealled to but I love it and receive compliments and queries as to what it is every time I wear it. Glad I tried it!
