For years I have searched for my own "personal" fragrance jumping from one to another and never finishing a full bottle of very expensive scents. I first learned of Arpege five years ago when my elderly aunt passed by me. I loved how she smelled and she introduced me to Arpege. This is one of my all time favorite scents. It is just fabulous, to borrow Jan Moran's trademark word. Arpege is so timeless and classy, sophisticated and feminine. Similar to Chanel No 5, only softer. It's a little hard to find in the dept stores. Thankfully, internet stores like FragranceX have it on hand and at reasonable prices, too. Arpege by Lanvin is one of the most beautiful of the classic fragrances from the 1920s. Subtle and sophisticated, it's a timeless scent. It was a happy day when Lanvin relaunched Arpege in the '90s.
