    The smooth Caron base isn't enough to warm this up for me; I prefer vanillic, floral, spicy orientals. The violet here is too powdery and cool for my taste, but I do enjoy the lovely anise in the beginning. Otherwise, I find this is a beautifully constructed light, sweet violet fragrance - not candied like most modern violets; I can see others loving this fragrance.
