Dalimix Gold Perfume by Salvador Dali, Released in 1997 by Salvador Dalí as a counterpart to the brand’s Dalimix fragrance, Dalimix Gold is a crisp and invigorating women’s fragrance more heavily based in aromatic-green notes than its fruity and sweet predecessor. The opening is fresh and clean - mint and lily-of-the-valley, with just a hint of bitterness under the green aroma of galbanum. Green persists at the forefront in the middle notes with jasmine, cassis and rose, though a slight spicy edge of pepper enters. Finally, the fragrant base of patchouli, musk and orris root brings a warm conclusion that persists well after the rest of the perfume. Paris-based perfume company Cofinluxe originally launched the Salvador Dalí brand in 1983 in collaboration with the titular artist and his wife, Gala.
