I love this fragrance
I have used Empreinte for years, I love it and always receive many compliments when using this fragrance. I always purchase Eau de Parfum since the strength is quite weak which means a lot of re applying. However the price is so good that I don't mind.

Lovely fresh fragrance
Always receive compliments when wearing this fragrance, particularly if I've just sprayed myself. I used it years ago in the 70's! I'm sure it was stronger then and longer lasting. I buy the Eau De Parfum strength which is the most concentrated - shame there isn't a pure perfume

Pretty good
Reminds me of Chantilly. Not as sweet or strong but has a nice spicy scent. If you dont want to spend a lot and don't mind a bit of spice, this isn't bad at all.

Not even close to original from 70s
I cannot determine by packaging whether it's knockoff or not but smell is not even close to original perfume from 70s. Probably attributed to different manufacturing process as many ingredients used 40 years ago cannot be used now.

I love yesterday's perfumes
This is one of the best in my perfume collection. I love old style perfumes. It is long lasting, once I spray on my skin in the morning, I feel it all day along, and I love it.To me Empreinte is better for cold weather. I can compare this fragrance with Sikkim, Ellipse, Jai Ose, similar style, which I love much.

Wonderful fresh fragrance
I use this fragrance very day and am so often complimented. Unfortunately it doesn't hold and needs reapplying frequently it's hard to believe its classed as "Eau de Parfum" because the strength is mor "Eau de Toilette" I used Empreinte many years ago in the 70's and certainly remember it was stranger and longer lasting.. However I still love it and just make sure I always carry it with me to reapply.

Disappointed!
Having loved Impreinte in the 1970s I early couldn't identify anything similar in the version I bought from you. Also I didn't appreciate having to pay an extra tax before delivery could take place.

A product I will never tire of

Beautiful and Elegant Fragrance!
I first used this in Paris around 25 years ago and have always loved this parfum! It is delicate very feminine and sexy in a subtle way! I always receive compliments when I wear it and just love it! It is really a beautiful fragrance and makes me VERY HAPPY!!!

Awesome perfume!!!!!!
I first bought Empreinte when I was traveling in 1979 in Paris. I went inside a fragrance shop on the main street and was testing several fragrances. I decided to buy Empreinte and they also gave me a sample to take with me. I loved the smell of this new fragrance I had never heard of, etc. When I got back to California, I couldn't find the fragrance anywhere so I asked and was told to try a shop on Post Street. To make a long story short, I shopped there until they didn't carry it anymore. I found Fragrancex.com and discovered my favorite perfume was there. Thanks Fragrancex for carrying my favorite perfume.

I use Empriente all day and spray myself on waking. It's a very classy fragrance, unusual too. The only downside is that it really doesn't hold and I find I get through a lot.

Empreinte Courreges is my favorite perfume I am wearing it every day, once in a shopping centre a lady stopped me to ask what perfume I am wearing and most of my friends asked me to write down for them the name as it is hard for them to get the name, anyway I am so Happy with this Perfume and I will always use it.

Have been searching for this perfume - it's great just as I remember it. I use it for special occasions, but its not so overpowering that you can't use it every day, it mellows down nicely as you wear it. Good service to the UK - thank you fragrancex.com

I won't buy from anywhere else
I am using my prefume daily, and I liked this perfume when my brother visited our family from Italy and he brought it to me as a gift, since then I was looking for this perfume all over the world, once a friend of mine went to France and bought it for me, I was so excited and I bought on line 3 bottles for the price of one from France, so from now on I know the way how to place an order on line and save huge money. omg I've finally found it!
I found Empreinte in the 80's when I was 20 years old and then I went to Paris to the Courreges store and found it there. I've been wearing this scent for over 30 years now and it is exquisite! I haven't been able to find it for many years until I found out about Fragrance X. I'm so happy they have it. Everyone asks what I'm wearing. It is a fragrance that is classic, and I wear it everyday.

Empriente Perfume
I first purchased this fragrance back in 1979 while on vacation with my brother and his wife in Belgium. We went to Paris, France and I decided to shop in a perfume shop and that's how I found this awesome fragrance that I absolutely love. I was having a hard time trying to buy it after I got back home. I used to purchase it from a shop in San Francisco, but they weren't able to get it anymore. So I decided to give Fragrancex.com a try. I'm glad I did. I'm happy they carry this fragrance. Finally I have this great smelling scent to wear again.

Not the same!
My sister used Empreinte during many years. She loved the perfume. But now we buy it again at FragranceX, the pefume we received was not the one we knew so well! We pay customs, taxes etc... and, at last, received something so far from our wishes! Completly disappointed! Be carefull before buy it: I don´t know if changes the formula or ...

Finally found it!
I was told that Empreinte was discontinued after looking high and dry for it... until I finally found it on this site!! It's a rather intense and long lasting scent, so I don't spray it near my head. It's a beautiful and sophisticated scent!

Unforgettable....
This is the most unforgettable fragrance that I've ever worn and I've worn many... I was introduced to it by a very chic young French woman (named Helene also!)who was studying in Spain with me back in the 80's. I have not found another fragrance that has this same appeal to me--it's sophisticated, chic, elegant and yet everday wearable. I wish I had bought extra bottles during my last trip to Paris in 2008--if it was still around. I bought my last bottle in 2005.

I used to wear it long ago and I loved it. If you ever bring it, I will certainly buy it. Another favourable smell that was alike (I think...) to empreinte, was Quiproquo form Gres. Please bring it back also! I'm dying to buy this one too!

Best perfume ever
This is my favorite perfume of all time. Yes, it reminds me of my very chic friend Helene who wore it and introduced it to me. But it's been over 30 years, I still come back to it and can't find another signature fragrance that I like better. It's fresh and fun but also sexy and exciting! I always get a thrill when I wear it! Like one of the reviewers said "You'll love it forever."
