I bought the Couture version of this because it is supposed to be like the original version before it was reformulated. This is wonderfully clean and powdery but with something dark deep down, possibly the iris. It makes me daydream and trasports me back to a time when perfume smelled like perfume and not like a smoothie. It could be considered old-fashioned but for any bright young thing out there that wants to make a statement and not be the same as every other girl it would make a stiking signature fragrance.

Years ago I received a gift of Reviens perfume. It was one of my favorites. The cologne spray which I ordered recently has a very strange scent when it is first applied, then after a time I can detect a faint aroma of the real Reviens. I realize that cologne is so much weaker in strength than the perfume, but I think this cologne could be better.
