The amber bottle was created by Thierry Lecoule Design. Its smooth shape and color bring to mind the rising sun or flames licking up from a campfire.
Escada is an international luxury fashion group. It was launched by the married team of Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley in 1976, with a focus on strong colors and prints. Escada Margaretha Ley was the first fragrance introduced by the company in 1990. Throughout the 90s and into the 2000s, more perfumes and colognes were created, often with colorfully designed bottles and packaging. Great perfume
I purchased this for my daughter when I was in the Bahamas when it first came out and she loved it. I have continued to try and purchase it for her on special occasions,unfortunately it has become more and more difficult to find. I hope I can get her another for Christmas.

best ever wish they still made it
it's a wonderful uplifting smell that really gives u that relaxed/hoilday but adventurous feel. if i was to smell it on someone, it gives out as through the person wearing is romantic/ladylike yet up for adventure and a breath of fresh air to be around feel! nothing has topped this smell or have i found anything that has come closed to it even in the slightest. it's a smell that u'll remember forever and die for just to smell it one last time. perfect if u want that man to remeber u by.(loads of people comented on it and hovered round me just to breathe it in. it was like a spell.) it's not overpowering or strong where your head aches or nose stings or sikening. it's a balance between sporty and fruity with freshness with no over powering. what's not great about it is that is was sold in a rather large, thick glass bottle that u think it looked too much and u'll have it for a long time but sadly i wish i had bought more to stock. if had known they weren't gonna make them anymore i would have gone and brought more..
