La Mome Perfume by Pierre Balmain, La Mome is an Oriental floral women’s fragrance that was created in 2007 by perfumer Guillaume Flavigny of Givaudan. Inspired by French singer and actress Edith Piaf, the perfume opens with head notes of rose, freesia, and pink pepper. At the heart are raspberry, violet, and myrrh notes. Iris, amber, musk, and opoponax base notes close this composition. With moderate longevity and sillage, this fragrance is best worn on fall and winter nights.

Pierre Balmain launched his eponymous fashion house in 1945, after World War Ii. He was born into a family that had worked in the design and fashion industries and worked for other fashion houses before starting his own venture. He became known for elegant and luxurious cocktail dresses, evening gowns, and wedding dresses, which gained popularity among the actresses and celebrities of the time. Balmain launched its first fragrance in 1945, with Inter Parfums currently holding the fragrance license. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

"Too much whiz and not enough bang"

This scent was created in hommage to the famous & talentuous Edith Piaf. It was launched in the same moment of the movie of Olivier Dahan.I loves this vintage & glamourous style, typically "French Haute Couture" like Jolie Madame, & get compliments when I wear it.The price is not too expense, thank you FragranceX [...]

Edith Piaf would have loved it!

Very good stuff. A mixture of orange peel, herbs and amber. Suits everybody - not only la grande chansonniere.
