Salvador Dali Sea & Sun In Cadaques Perfume by Salvador Dali, Salvador Dali Sea & Sun in Cadaques is an elegant combination of fruity, floral and aquatic accords. Introduced in 2006, this fragrance is meant to represent the artist’s origins in Cadaques, Spain. The warmth of the land and the coolness of the sea are conveyed through the fragrance. It opens with fruity top notes of kumquat, apricot and black currant. The scent then moves to the heart of aquatic florals with water lily, freesia and lotus blossom. The fragrance closes with notes of cedar, musk and amber.

Salvador Dali is the eponymous fragrance line of the famous surrealist painter, Salvador Dali. He was inspired to create a fragrance after he finished painting Apparition of the Aphrodite of Knidos, when he drew a perfume bottle based on the nose and lips of the painting. He released his first fragrance in 1983 in memory of his recently departed wife, Gala. For him, it was the best way to immortalize her. It is said that they chose the scent together before her death.
