Ģchanged from Birmane to this and have been wearing as my signature perfume. It is a perfume rather than EDT, and lasts 24 hours. Could not normally afford to do this unless purchased here so buy the largest size I can when in stock. Superb perfume, and gets noticed as not the run of the mill celeb branded products so sometimes asked what it is and where purchased.

Fresh fruity patchouli combo
VC&A version of fruity patchouli combo. Patchouli is throughout, giving it a funky, musty undertone, with tart berries, fruity orangy/tangerine twist. In the category of Miss Dior Cherie, Coco Mademoiselle, Angel, Liberte by Cacharel etc, but lighter and easier to wear. Even so it is a long lasting, fresh, semi sweet fruity fragrance.

One of the greatest perfumes, in an amazing, magical bottle. Best way to imagine the fragrance, is to imagine a gourmand blend of raspberry with cream, black currant and praline, jasmine and fresh cut flowers. it's delicate yet decadent fragrance is to stay in my collection. VERY RECOMENDED

oriental parfume
I use this parfume every day it is my favourite after all. At first it is kind of sweet but it changes to just spicy warm oriental but not heavy at the same time. Love it

Light Gourmand Fougere
I thought that this is a heavy oriental one with some character. Instead all I got is very light, slightly sweet / fruity patchouli . Very soft, almost undetectable powdery gourmand / candy notes. Too weak for my taste. No longevity, after 1 or 2 hours its disappears for my nose, sitting close to skin. Its not what I expected from Van Cleef & Arpels house! So Sad...

Oriens, jewellery for naked body

I'm sure for some people this scent is amazing. My biggest problem with it is I didn't even get it out of the package before I was overwhelmed by the smell of this perfume. I couldn't even put it on it was so overwhelming.

Changed my signature perfume to this
Used Birmane for many years, cannot now get the EDP, and tried this from recommendations. Initially thought it too sweet after Birmane, but it has grown on me, and grown on me until now I don't want to be wearing anything else. Absolutely love it, and am buying more.
