Byblos was created in 1973 as a brand of Genny, an Italian fashion company. However, due to its popularity with the Italian youth, the brand became an independent company in the 1980s. Since its inception, the brand has remained a contemporary and refreshing fixture in the world of fashion and fragrance employing such notable icons as Gianni Versace, Keith Vart and Allen Cleaver.
