The fragrance was created by Jesus Del Pozo, a Spanish fashion designer who opened his first store in 1974 and launched his first fragrance in 1992. All products are original, authentic name brands. Similar, but Better than Bvlgari Omni Crystalline
This was my favorite fragrance until it was discontinued. The closest scent to it is Bvlgari Omni Crystalline & even it doesn't smell as good. If fragrances were related, they'd be sisters because the scents are both clean, Citrus & light. I love this fragrance and wish someone could tell me where I could find it. Duende is Not Escencia. The bottles are identical, but Duende smells awful. Be sure the bottle says Escencia. I hope this helped someone.

Earthy but fresh. Not sweet. Exotic
Let me start by saying: nearly all women's fragrances make me fat. Too sweet or to old or two flowery. Just nasty. This is so different. It's spicy, warm, soft, fresh like spring, not at all over powering. Lasts forever. No kidding. I confess a jacket that grazed my wrist a week earlier and have comments from people who pass by me in a department store. How wonderful I smell. My husband chose well. I've been wearing it for 15 years. Constantly get comments. Our daughters each have their own J.Del Pozo fragrance. He is magical.

I mostly use it during the day when I feel like a soft floral scent with woodsy notes. I love woody earthy scents and have many different lotions and soaps that complement this fragrance. It's a strong but not overpowering scent so you do not need much to go a long way. Duende is a perfect name that definitely speaks for itself. I love the fact you describe the notes which helped me basically gamble on a fragrance I never had a chance to test prior to this order. I am extremely satisfied and will use this site to increase my collection.

Light, lemon-y with floral shadings
For me this is a perfect summer scent - a light floral, with a lemon-y (citrus, but not orange citrus) undertone. I use Essencia de Duende mostly in the summer months because it is a very light scent, yet it does have staying power. There's a woody-earth tinge to the scent, also, and I think that's what gives it the little extra oomph. It really is a light, invigorating and refreshing perfume on a hot day - no musk at all.
