I would buy this product again and again
My first experience with Magie Noire goes back to 1981. I can only find it here. It is great during cold weather as it balances oriental fragrances as Oud, spices, and other. It is not to be used in hot weather, but it is wonderful all day during cold season. I'd definitely buy it again next year.

Every day toilet/pargume water when make-up but must take with me and add afternoon Parfume for evenings. Not lasting despite strong. Not for young unless smokers or dark type. Not for everyone but suits me since my 16th despite changing colour from redhead to whitehead. Not for shy personality. It is too atractive, evocative.

pure disapointment instead of pure perfume
I' ve purchaised 7,5 ml pure perfume which is hardly scented at all, fragrance holds for about 2 hours and stays very close to skin. Big disapointment, wasted money!

This perfume is awesome however for myself it for the older generation. I got many great complements that I smell good and it was what their wives wore but it was from people much older than me. They were in their sixties or seventies. It just made me feel funny, so I returned it.

From iconic scent to very average..
When I received my pure parfum I was delighted that the box and the bottle look the same as I remember from early 90s but...not the fragrance itself. After reformulations it's hardly recognisable and moved from iconic scent into pretty average and boring, sweetish perfume which doesn't worth the money I paid. The bottle still cute as a button so I have it in my collection as a reminder of this perfume previous glory days.

Magie Noire perfume (not the spray/cologne version) has been my signature fragrance since the early 1980's. Lancome offers the perfume version for a few years and then tucks it in their closet for the next twenty. Ladies, I've lived through several of these "droughts", so if you love Magie Noire perfume as much as I do, buy as many as you can as soon as you can.
