Although Perry Ellis began his career as a merchandiser and buyer, he quickly found a niche in womenswear after he moved back to New York from Virginia. He soon launched one of the most popular sportswear lines for women in the 1970s, and his brand's catalog would soon branch out to include menswear, shoes and fragrances. The first perfumes from the brand house were released in 1985. Unfortunately, Ellis would pass away a year later, but his commitment to quality can be found in each new product, including America perfume. All products are original, authentic name brands. Not like the original
I have had many bottles of America by Perry Ellis over a long period. My bottle is low so i decided to order a new one. Its hard to find so i was excited to see it here. It smells nice but a little too sweet for my liking. It is definitely NOT the same as the original. A little upsetting. Not sure if I'm going to return it or not.
