It *is* the same scent just STRONGER
I was delighted to find this and sprayed it all over and then hated it. I went back and (don't laugh), just sniffed the bottle's atomizer. I KNEW it was the same scent i loved 50 years ago. It was not in a spray but in a silky lotion. I'm going to try to dilute some in lotion.

Former Revlon Fragrance
The fragrance was launched in 1955 by Revlon and its acquisition by Jean Phillipe in the 80s is close to the original formula but does not last as long and is not exactly the same. For instance, the bergamot is not noticeable and the sandalwood is stronger. The huge size of the bottle is an indication of its loss of prestige.

Loved this for many years. Was my signature perfume when young, and was so disappointing not to be able to find it. Then got this site on Facebook and there it is, intimate by Revlon, bought it straight away, and got it this morning, it's like meeting up with an old friend again x

Disappointing Revlon Replica
Unfortunately, this is not exactly the Revlon original to those of distinguishing olfactory senses. It has an past-date scent to it; and having purchased at three separate places. It's NOT past-date, it just smells that way. It was my signature scent through the 70s and 80s so that slight difference in scent is quite noticeable.

Worn Intimate for over 30 years
I have worn Intimate for over 30 years. I have tried other perfumes but they either give me a headache or make my skin itch. Intimate never has and I get a lot of compliments on it. It is the only perfume I wear.

Grandma's Perfume
If you want to smell of Grandmas, then hurry and get this perfume. Very powdery. Not intimate or original at all. I could compare it to Chanel 5, Shalimar, Estee Lauder's Youth Dew, or Avon's Timeless. Very very nice if you love those smells. Perfect for after bath or bedtime. Reminds me of my Granny.

Old is Gold
Its an incredibly old brand.. my grand mother used it in the 60s in India and would use it only on very special occasions. It's just a unique fragrance, try it and you'll love it. It's long-lasting and catches people's attention --yet its not overpowering. I use it every alternate day to work. I can't think of a con to be honest.

I purchased Intimate because I used to wear it in high school and missed the scent. For me, it's an instant nostalgia trip every time I put it on. To me, it's a pleasant, almost soothing, floral. I don't wear it to work, only because it could be considered too sweet for some. But I do wear it around the house and on the weekends. It's a comfort scent, to be sure, even though it differs a bit from when it was a Revlon product (in the 1970s).

wonderful classic perfume!
I would use it all the time and the price is so good that I can get it anytime from FragranceX. It was my mother's favourite when I was growing up &I knew it as INTIMATE REVLON hence could not locate it till now, until I read other's reviews and realised its the same perfume I had been searching for my mother. So pleased with it, only wish I had managed to get it 3 yrs ago for her when she was alive!

I've worn Intimate for 45 years plus
My mother introduced me to Intimate in the 1960's. I have used it ever since. I have never had an allergic reaction to it, nor headache. It is never over bearing. Men and women compliment me on the very feminine perfume smell. I use it to atomize my truck, a touch at bed time, out at the horses, any time, all the time. I go through a bottle in a week and a half to two week period. THE ONLY HUGE COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THAT IT IS HARD TO FIND. One time, from a warehouse, I bought 40 bottles, all they had.

Lovely perfume shame about extra charges
I use the perfume daily and have done for a number of years had lots of people commenting on how lovely it smells and asking the name of it. was really pleased when I saw it on-line as cannot seem to get it in the shops anymore - the downside was the price I thought I was paying went up from £35.10 to £48 due to customs duty & Post Office handling charges, it wouldn't have been so bad if I'd known about this at the start. Still love the perfume though.

I can't really review the perfume itself, but will say a few words about the company instead. This was a gift for my grandmother. they changed the formula
I used to use this fragrance while in college and loved it. I have noticed that the fragrance is not what it used to be. The formula has been changed, and the change is disappointing. You will be disappointed if you're expecting the old Intimate.

Reminds me of my mum

I am 70yrs old and have used Intimate since I was 15. At one time it was impossible to find it anywhere, so I had a friend in England ship it to me, so I was delighted to find it available on line, and at such an incredible price.

Intimate fragrance has been around for decades and it is a very hard fragrance to locate. There is nothing to compare to this fragrance. I was so happy to find this on your website.
