Oscar Violet Perfume by Oscar De La Renta, Oscar Violet is a light, floral perfume for women, released in 2005. It was created as a limited summer fragrance but became a regular in the perfume line due to its popularity. Top notes include pear and citrus. The heart of this accord radiates notes of dark chocolate, violet and cinnamon. The base notes leave a soft finish with musk and vanilla. This unique combination results in a pleasing and complex aroma.

Oscar De La Renta released this perfume amidst a line of other adventurous and feminine fragrances. The designer got his start as a fashion designer after moving to Spain at 18 years old to study art. He made extra money by sketching pictures for clothing lines and in so doing, caught the attention of the U.S. Ambassador’s wife. She hired him to design an ensemble for her daughter and its success launched him to fame. He moved to New York in 1965 and started his own company, branching out from haute couture to perfume and accessories over the years. All products are original, authentic name brands. The second impression is better

I use this perfume all day long. At first I was not convinced, but now I am becoming addicted. It smells a delicious powdered scent but not the violet as one could think.

Sweet violet & chocolate

Flowery, sweet and gourmand but not overwhelming. This is a delicate floral fragrance with a *cinnamony* and chocolate twist! I enjoy this scent it so much I wear it to bed at night. It's so comforting and soothing. Without a doubt a new favorite of mine and will be purchasing again. (Wish there was a lotion to go with this to make the scent stay longer.)
