About Versace
History and background of Versace. Gianni Versace was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, on December 2, 1946. After an apprenticeship at his mother's dressmaking business, he began working as a freelance designer. I tested this out at the mall when it first came out and i just fell in love this. I LOVE floral perfumes because I can wear them any time I want. But it was expensive (at about 120$!) so i was so glad to find it here on fragrancex. Florals dont really last long on your skin so I wasn't expecting any wow factor but Vanitas really did impress me. I would say that this lasted on my skin for about 6 hours. I get compliments everywhere i go and my boyfriend just wants to smell me all day long. I'm a versace lover, ive had all of their perfumes with yellow diamond being by all time favorite spring/summer fragrance but this is my new signature scent.
