I used this for from 1986 to 1996 but I feel it has changed to the worse. It is less refreshing and more empowering then it was.

Love this Garden
Love this parfum! This was my first scent that my Mother gave me. She had been to the garden in Paris and bought the perfume from the gift shoppe. The bottle is not as stylish as it used to be 40 years ago, however the scent remains the same. Lovely memories.

A classic scent. A little bit out of date if I may say, the scent of this will remind you of your Aunt or even your Mom. This is the type of scent classy women wore back in the 70s-80s. It can be overpowering given its classic vibe. A great gift for your mom I guess?

For the old school tuberose lovers.
I have been chasing another Guerlain perfume that I only have a decant I some people told me it could be JDB. I purchased it without trying it, blind buy. It is not what I was hoping. Nevertheless I loved it by itself. Is so beautiful, classy, elegant and even tho it brings that old school/vintage vibe, I loved it. They dry down is woody and a heavy tuberose, which is a note I really enjoy, but it can be tricky, at some point it resulted too indolic for my nose, but I think the weather may be contributed to that perception, it was super hot and humid. I'm confident is going to be another story on a colder weather. It brings to my head Diorissimo, is not a dupe is not alike at all, but is the same flower garden vibe. I think Diorissimo is perfect for spring and summer situations Guerlain's JDB could ve a garden on fall and winter, or definitely evening wear, but even tho cold, beautiful flowers everywhere. I want to see how the tuberose behaves under a colder weather , but so far I'm loving it.

After some online researching. I discovered the ingredients to the different fragrances that I have worn over the years. Based on that information the most common scent that I tend to like is gardienia. Based on online information I recently blind purchased 3 bottles. My favourite is Jardins D Bagatelle by Guerlin, second Gardiena by Elizabeth Arden and third Ellenisia Penhalons (very soft scent). I love all the scents that I purchased.

My favorite
Jardins de Bagatelle is my favorite perfume. My Mom gave it to me for my 18th birthday. Our meeting lasts for 37 years Yep, I can not get enoughThe winter I use the eau de parfum and the summer eau de toilette. I am always afraid that the brand will stop manufacturing, started in 1963, which is by coincidence the date of my birth. I reassure you all the same, the world will not stop turning but it has been a beautiful story between this perfume and me.

An all time favourite
I love wearing this fragrance. It is a long time favourite of mine and brings back so many memories over the years. My go to perfumes are Yvresse, beautiful, Paris and Jardins De Bagatelle, so If you like any of those you will like this. I purchased the tester, a great price as I did not need the fancy packaging.

Gorgeous!
Beautiful big floral that has a twist to it about 10 mins after application. The twist is a "green" note almost herb like,that stays amongst the flowers. It makes it quite different and is something I love! it's quite strong to start with which is nice. It lasts all day too. I could still smell it the next morning. Long lasting is something I associate Guerlains with but the more modern stuff lacks. I'm very impressed with it and will always have, now that I have found it!

Wonderful floral scent with a hint of nostalgia!
This is a very complex floral scent with a semi-classic or a semi-retro(french) style, but also sounding modern enough to be appealing. Has a great staying power, projects well without being too offensive, at a medium range around the person, something which I suppose could be a good modification of the original scent which I have not tried. The scent itself cannot be literally described as 'floral', but more as 'a floral by association'. The bee bottle is beautiful.

There are not many retailers of this perfume, and it seems to have disappeared from airport duty frees. So it was so good to find it on FragranceX at a reasonable price -- and fast delivery here to distant Australia!

This is such an enchanting scent; a wonderful floral, not a heavy over-the-top smell; imagine walking past someone's flower bed and smelling the most captivating scent. My very first love used this perfume; and though we parted over 17 years ago, I still dream of this sensual scent. I have yet to meet or pass another woman that wears this fragrance. it's one of my passions
I am addicted to perfumes, have a whole collection and chose depending on occasions and mind. Its very difficult to find a strong long lasting but at the same time fresh, special and young perfume, this is one of them.
