Nice fragrance
4 year and 6 month old bottle
This perfume is so nostalgic for me. I smell it, and it easily transports me to a time in my past where I'm experiencing a day in the City. It's a sunny day, and the cherry blossom trees are in bloom. Pure joy of a scent. My only gripe with this bottle is that I checked the batch code, and my bottle is 4 years and 6 months old. That's a little dated for my liking. I do not know how well fragrance x stores their perfumes, but I do not want my perfume to go bad quickly. So I'm a little bummed about that. I hope it lasts long. I would probably not order from them again specifically for this reason.

Really like this fragrance, but...
I would be happy to wear this anytime; definitely during the day. The smell seems to get better with wear, but this sample didn't have any staying power on me. This a problem i have with some fragrances.

Nice fragrance
I'll use every now and then. "Nothing special" until dry down with my chemistry. Try sample before you commit to full purchase wish I had. Nice but no repurchase in my future, with that price especially. Although FragranceX is the best value ANYWHERE.

An amazing perfume
Such an interesting perfume. My first real niche purchase and I love it. Very interesting composition, I can smell vanilla, peach blossom, cardamom. Madame Butterfly it is not
This is an interesting perfume and do not be sidetrapped by the name. "A rose by any other name ..." - here we are experiencing gardenia and all the way through cinnamon - a sweet, soft perfume which could become my signature scent. It is a cozy and comforting perfume which adds to the crisp autumn and winter weather. I like a lot.

A lovely perfume
In keeping with the rest of the high quality Bond No. 9 fragrances, this one is one of my favorites. Starting with a small sample vial, I fell in love with the warm and inviting gardenia fragrance. But no, not only gardenia, there is definitely a trace of cinnamon in there. I don't recommend Chinatown for office wear. It deserves a dressed-up occasion and then it can properly make its statement. Not overpowering, but distinctive with its floral notes, it finally dries down into a comforting woodsy aroma. I recommend it for the fall and winter. Coming in from outdoors, it fully blooms again indoors. Absolutely lovely!

Beautiful fragrance!!
Even though hesitated at 1st due to the cost, I fell in love w/the fragrance. I 1st tried at [...] & enjoyed the smell all day, then rushed home to order internet in order to save $$. After receiving my bottle I then went to purchase the body cream (to die for).It's difficult to decribe, it's a complicated fragrance. It's a little sweet but not overly so, soft but definitely there for the day (you will get compliments). It fits me perfectly being a southern women, but for some that want a clear crisp or spicy fragrance, one of the other Bond No. 9's will probably fit better.Also, it's floral, but again softly. I personally don't like extreme florals, but for those of you how do "Chelsea Flowers" is wonderful. These are great fragrances, they wear and feel like some of the great very expensive perfumes. Since they are so different, I think there are about 30 different ones now, you really need to go to one of the nicer dept stores like [...] and try them. Then rush home and order them online you'll save at least $50.00. As far as "Chinatown", this is my new signature fragrance, thank goodness for the internet, otherwise I couldn't afford it.
