Rochas is a French fashion company started in 1925. The business created many new clothing designs including the mermaid dress, skirts with pockets and 2/3-length coats. Starting in 1934, the company began offering perfumes. Femme, created in 1943, has been one of the company’s bestselling offerings. In 2003, Proctor and Gamble acquired the business and re-launched the fashion wing of the brand which had been dormant for many years. All products are original, authentic name brands. Disappointed in product
My only scent for over 20 years!
I adore this scent and am on your wait list. Daily I get a text asking if I am still interest, which I am! I click on the blue for Mystere to order and every time it says "sold out"! Why do you have to get my hopes up? I will order as soon as I am notified, probably more than one so I have back ups, but please stop teasing me!!

Just as I remembered it.
I bought this product because I used it many years ago. The scent is exactly how I remembered it. I use it in the evenings to go out to dinner. It lasts all night long.

Still the same!
I bought a bottle with the damaged cap 6 months ago and it's as I remember! I also bought a very expensive bottle of Mystere from another seller in better condition bottle, and both bottles are similar in scent. I would personally recommend the bottle with the damaged cap.

Only disappointment in years
after years of buying from FragranceX this is the only disappointing buy I have made. I realised the cap was damaged but it looked as though it had been in a fire - discoloured and smoky, and the perfume was definitely not as I remembered it. It smelled stale and old and I do wonder if this was stock that had been subjected to heat and fire damage. Also the colour was very deep amber which is not the colour that I had previously had with Mystere - more a golden yellow. I still think Fragrance X is the only way to go when buying perfume and I think that this stock should have been withdrawn. Still a loyal customer

OMG cant belview I found this perfume after all these years
Just love love love this perfume. I have been trying to find it for about ten years, with no luck/ cant believe you had it. Rochas discontinued it years ago. However it still smells great, just like it should even although it must be old.

Love the perfume, hate the price
I rang Proctor & gamble who used to make this perfume and they stopped producing it 20 years ago. I still love the smell though of yours but I am not prepared to pay the cost which you are charging, anybody who does has to be crazy.

not the original
This is a very good perfume but the one selling here is not the original if you got different bottle etc. returned it plus how dare charging that amount of money when is not even the original, I still own an original one and believe me the smell lasts even the next day you can still smell it in your clothes. don't buy here is not worth it and is not the original one.

Faulty sprayer
Too bad this can't be found in its original bottle form. I ordered the $56.00 version and got a bottle with a faulty sprayer. The spring and sprayer just didn't work. What a waste of many! Don't habve time to mess with returns. Now I'm leary on buying another one. Don't want the same thing to happen. Does anyone know of other sites where I can find this perfume at?

Not what I thought I was ordering
The picture of the bottle shown above is the one in the email they sent to say it was back in stock but it is not the same as the bottles I received. I ordered 3 and they all had different amounts of perfume in them. These bottles are at least 30 years old so the fragrance will be poor. I emailed and sent pictures but just got replies telling me to send a picture. They have now stopped communicating. this order cost me almost £100.oo in sterling and it is very annoying.

LOVE IT.
It's the best perfume on the market. All the others are rubbish compared to this . I first bought it in the 1980's and nothing has come close since . BRING IT BACK PERMANENTLY ITS TOO GOOD TO ONLY HAVE OCCASIONALLY . ROCHAS MYSTERE RULES NOW AND FOREVER. ITS PURE CLASS. This is the only one I want to wear.

My go to, most complimented fragrance!
I have been wearing Mystere de Rochas since 1978, when it was first introduced. For a long time (years!) I couldn't find it any longer and was truly unhappy that it was no longer to be had. I tried many other fragrances but none came close to how Mystere made me feel. It is MY fragrance and knowing I can get it on FrangranceX.com is a true treasure find for me. Anytime I wear Mystere strangers comment on it and how lovely it is. I wear it for evening, although sometimes I wear it as a daytime fragrance if going somewhere special. My husband loves it and says "that is your fragrance!" Not being able to get it in the original bottle with the signature, black, top is a con as is the price for the amount, .88 oz, Eau de Parfum spray in a bottle with plastic cap. BUT! I found it! Priceless!

Disappointed in product
I was very disappointed in this. The perfume is "off" and the bottle is definately not new it was clear from the bottom of the bottle this perfume had been sitting for a long time. I have used this fragrance for years but it was discontinued some time ago. I was excited at being able to get some but very disappointed when I opened the packaging.

Great Fragrance Poor Packaging
Great Fragrance but the spray nozzles stop working with the perfum still in the bottle or the nozzles won't stop spraying wasting the perfum. Sometimes the bottle comes half full so you don't get all the perfum you have purchased. I have worn this fragrance since 1978 and it's getting more difficult to find the perfum in any form. I wish the house of Rochas would package it in it's origional bottles.

Great smell but poor packaging
The fragrance itself is great. I've read reviews and decided to try it. I am very pleased with the results. But although they've mentioned it was unboxed, it was 4/5 full and it seems was well used before.

I have been a Mystere de Rochas user since 1978. I love the fragrance. I was stunned to find out that it had been discontinued. I found this on FragranceX and ordered it with some skepticism. I am not sure that it is an original (made by Rochas) but it smells exactly like the original. However, there is one caveat, with the original I could spray it on my wrist and at the end of the day still I could still smell it. With this item I cannot. However, I would rather have this than no Mystere fragrance at all. I wish that Rochas and P&G reconsider their decision to discontinue this wonderful fragrance. There are many of us out here who still love it and want to wear it. In my opinion it is the best of the Rochas fragrance line by far!

Mystere Rochas 88oz perfume
I have been very disappointed with your customer service. The perfume you showed on this email is the one I requested but I was sent a 25ml spray which is not at all the same quality as the perfume I have loved for many years. The smell is not the same and fades very quickly. I was told I couldnt possibly have received the wrong product and the girl on the phone was most unhelpful.

So relieved to have tracked down a bottle at last, wore it years ago and have always loved Mystere. Agree with previous comment about the picture and the product you sent, the picture is the spray bottle as it always was, the product you have sent is a different atomiser. Would prefer the original bottle if possible to get hold of.

Two spritz's in the air over my intimate apparel and then dress. Or when my hair is down, and then I put it wrapped up, dropping down later in the day is as good as spritz of perfume, without doing a thing.

I have enjoyed this product since it was first introduced. While the fragrance itself is most important, I also liked the original unique bottle design. The last 2 times I've purchased this product through FragranceX, the product is delivered in a cheesy, round bottle. Since this product is expensive, I think it should be delivered as pictured in the unique bottle. If the manufacturer has changed the packaging, the price should be lowered and the picture should be updated.

Found at last
I used Mystere Rochas for many years and then couldn't get hold of it anywhere. So delighted to have found it again and will use it very carefully because I don't want to be without it ever again! I just have never found another perfume I like as much.

Like the previous reviewer I am so dissapointed that this absolutely gorgeous perfume never seems to be available. I would like to call it my signature scent but that is impossible! I'll second the comment that the fact that this beautiful fragrance has been left to die while the market is flooded by a gazillion other inferior scents is beyond me. Bring back Mystere!
