The head notes start with coriander, lemon, fruits, and green notes. At the heart are jasmine, cassia, rose, violet, pink pepper, and peony. Amber, musk, vanilla, praline, woody notes, rosewood, and oakmoss make up the base notes. With moderate sillage and longevity, this scent does well on fall and winter days.

Armand Basi got his start in fashion and textiles through his mother’s knitwear business in Barcelona, Spain. After spending four decades running the Basi family business with his brother Josep, the eponymous brand was launched in 1987, with cousin Lluis Juste de Nin serving as designer and creative director.
