Santal De Mysore Perfume by Serge Lutens, Santal De Mysore is a woody spicy women’s perfume with warm spicy, balsamic, woody, fresh spicy, and powdery main accords. Brand collaborator and perfumer Christopher Sheldrake created this fragrance in 1991. Sandalwood is the predominant note in this scent, along with spices, caraway, benzoin, and styrax. This fragrance works well for day and evening wear in the fall and winter months. The bottle is rounded at the shoulders and features a round, silver cap.

As a teenager, Serge Lutens began working as a hairstylist in Lille, France, before he was drafted into the French army. After his service ended, he moved to Paris in 1962 and began working at Vogue magazine after presenting photographs he had taken. Lutens was called upon to style models for various fashion magazines because of his talents with makeup and jewelry placement. After working in photography and filmmaking, Lutens began collaborating with Shiseido in 1980 to help the Japanese brand establish an international presence. Together, they established Les Salons du Palais Royal in Paris and later, his own perfume brand. The earliest fragrance was launched in 1991. All products are original, authentic name brands.
