Madame Rochas Intense Perfume by Rochas, Madame Rochas Intense was introduced in 2013 and is a version of the original fragrance from 1960. As the name suggests, it is a strong, decadent perfume and is perfect for the evening. The top notes are fruity and sweet and consist of bergamot, lemon, orange, honeysuckle and aldehydes. The heart notes introduce the floral side of the scent with iris, rose, jasmine and tuberose. The base notes add the warmth and intensity and comprise musk, sandalwood, cedar and incense.

Marcel Rochas founded Rochas in Paris, France in 1925. The brand describes its philosophy as embodying ‘audacity, youth and Parisian elegance’. This was apparent in its early designs for women, seen as avant-garde in the world of fashion. The brand created its first perfume in 1934 and, although the start of World War Ii prevented expansion, the fragrance line was relaunched in 1943 and went from strength to strength expanding to including a men’s range and cosmetics.
