Guipure & Silk Rose Perfume by Jeanne Arthes, Guipure & Silk Rose is a fruity, floral scent that opens with top notes of tangy black currant, the fresh crispness of apple and citrusy mandarin. Floral heart notes comprise the subtle, powdery aroma of Japanese peony, the brightness of lily of the valley and apricot-peachy tones from nectarine, anchored with the clean, feminine scent of rose. Sensual musk and mild white sandalwood in the base blend with earthy, herbaceous patchouli and sweet vanilla to round out this luxurious fragrance. It offers weak to moderate longevity and moderate sillage.

Launched in the 2000s, the perfume comes from the fragrance house of Jeanne Arthes. The company is headquartered in Grasse, France, often regarded as the cradle of perfumery. It oversees all aspects of its product production, from concept to distribution. Jean-Pierre Bethouart, the nose behind the fragrance, is now retired.
