Les Saisons Par Van Cleef Hiver Perfume by Van Cleef & Arpels, Les Saisons Par Van Cleef Hiver is a women’s floral green perfume with fresh spicy, citrus, musky, warm spicy, and aromatic main accords. Meant for winter day wear, the scent also works well in the fall. The fragrance, which was announced in 2004, commences with a lime head note and leads to white pepper and cardamom heart notes. It then concludes on a musk base note. The longevity and the sillage are at moderate levels.

Alfred Van Cleef and his uncle Salomon Arpels founded Van Cleef & Arpels in 1896. Though Arpels passed away in 1906, the brand name continued, with Van Cleef’s cousins Charles and Julien Arpels joining the business and securing the first shop space in Paris, France. The company became known for its jewelry creations and watches, which gained followers such as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Marlene Dietrich, Princess Grace, and Maria Callas.
