Bakir has an earthy, rich aroma
Smells slightly rancid like it's old!
Darn Spellcheck!
I typed Germaine Montiel, not Monticello.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

One Of My Favorites
I started wearing this in the Fall of 75 or 76. It was initially made by Germaine Monticello's then. It is a sensuous, heady, & exotic spicy fragrance with a touch of incense. It makes me think of being in a bazaar in the Middle East. It's definitely to be worn by a confident woman who values her own style, which is generally a cut above the masses. Dab just a small finger tip amount to pulse points as it's concentrated & can be overpowering, especially in small spaces like an elevator, small office or room. I can't wait until orders are taken as I've looked for this for over 35 years. I'm definitely on the waiting list.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

LOVE THIS
I started wearing this perfume in 1977. Last bottle I had was 1984 and couldn't find any place. What a HAPPY camper I am that I found, on waiting list now, can't wait till it comes in. SEXY SCENT!!!!
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

Smells slightly rancid like it's old!
I love this fragrance! But I am disappointed in that it smells like it has been on the shelf to long. In other words, it doesn't smell fresh. If it did have the "not to old" fragrance, I would love it!
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend to a friend.

right type of name for this scent
This scent is great if you like spicy powdery smells, and best kept for evenings, I think this perfume has a slightly dated old fashioned smell, but hey, no doubt these kinda scents will be back in fashion anytime soon, like everything else! I like it, and for the price its great, it lasts as well, so you would get your moneys worth
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

Love it
I started using this perfume in 1978 when it first came out. Used it until 1984, and couldn't find it anymore. This perfume is a head turner I've been told how good I smell when I use to wear it. It's been years since I had a bottle can't wait to get it again!
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

Bakir has an earthy, rich aroma
This fragrance is bold, and it makes a sensual announcement of its presence. Even a small bit of it is enough to command attention.
