not the original scent
I have 1 and 1/2 bottles remaining of the original GM scent. Was hoping that this was what I was looking for. Eau de Royal Secret is not the same fragrance as the original. What a shame. Smells like a cross between vanilla and bug spray. Sorry Five Star, you missed the mark.

I've been wearing this fragrance sine 1982. My favorite. Without it I don't feel beautiful. I love the compliments from men and women. Please don't stop selling this fragrance! I absolutely love this fragrance!

ROYAL SECRET
I have a very small bottle of the original Royal Secret. They have changed the formula quite a bit. Gone is lily of the valley, lavender,violet, sandlewood just to name a few. They replaced with some other don't know why. It is close but not the same. Been using since 1968.

I wore Royal Secret starting in the late '60s. It was my signature fragrance. People always stopped me to ask what I was wearing. Now, your company has ruined that classic by changing the formulation. Shame on you. You don't change perfection!

The color, smell, and feel is different from the original.
I had been wearing this since 1960. You should had purchased the formula or not cut the steps short. The smell, color and feel is not the same. It doesn't last as long.

Received as a gift and it turned out to be an empty bottle!!
I have worn Royal Secret since the early 1970's. I've always kept an extra bottle. My son bought me a bottle as a gift and that was probably 2 years ago. When I finally opened this bottle nothing would pump out so I purchased a crystal atomizer to pour the perfume into. Low and behold, we finally were able to get the bottle open and it was empty!! I don't know where my son purchased this bottle but I'm sure going to see if he remembers. Be careful who you purchase from over the internet.

have been wearing Royal Secret since the 70's LOVE IT!!!!
Have worn since 70's tried to find other fragrances when this became hard to get in area finally was able to get the Royal Secret Bath Perfume Bath Oil, Perfume, lotion and shower gel..now only spray perfume and powder, they are supplying Eau de Perfume Bath Oil and IS NOT THE SAME SMELL!!! Trying desperately to find the product I have used since the 70's. I use the bath oil directly on skin along with the spray...lasts all day and I have been stopped by stangers to ask what I was wearing as well as friends. PLEASE do not stop making the original Royal Secret Bath Oil. Would also like to make the body cream again. When my local stores quit carrying in 80's I had it shipped from Canada until found locally again. PLEASE CONTINUE THE REGULAR PRODUCTS OF ROYAL SECRET...no other fragrance works with my body chemistry!!

I used to use it all of the time, but it's so hard to find that I'm more choosy about when I wear it which is very disappointing.I wonder if it is a ploy to make it "unavailable" and keep the price so high. Not very nice way to do business if this is true. JUST make the darned perfume and sell it to us who love it when we need more and a a decent price. The new version of it reeks.

My advice to Fiver Star is if you bought the Company making the original formula then why did you change it. Many people I know have learned not to buy it from Five Star.

The perfume men always seem to notice
Most definitely a evening perfume, I used to wear it to go out in my red fox coat (Back in the day when it was acceptable to wear fur) 70s and felt a million dollars My children in their late 40s 50 still remember it today and associate it with me kissing goodnight before I went out, it lasts and lasts, and is the only perfume I've ever worn that men friends and Husbands of Friends ever ask what is that beautiful perfume, and my then 3 yr old grandson , told me oh Nanna you smell lovely, I have worn it for 50 years, and am delighted to have found your site purely by chance, as I haven't seen any for sale for years, thank you

Royal Secret Perfume--PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!
I LOVE this perfume. I have been using it ever since my mother bought it for me when I was 15 years old and I am now 52. It breaks my heart that I can no longer find it in the stores and this web site no longer has it. If I want to buy it now I have to pay twice as much as I did last year. How sad. Please bring this perfume back, I don't use any other perfumes but this one.

Product price is to high, product is hard to get . Product was good from it's introduction for tha royal wedding, for many years, untill the last year, or so it is now to small in size and unable to be found. The rating was very good but now due to it;s lack of supply it must therefor suffer as an also ran type product

A little spray or dab on the wrists and a touch behind the ears. Perfect. It lasts all day. I can't find it anywhere to buy. I used to be able to buy it in Glasgow where I was introduced to it. Now, nowhere stocks it, which is frustrating!
