Ombre Rose L'Original perfume is an iconic floral fragrance for women from the brand Jean Charles Brousseau that came out in 1981 behind the nose of Francoise Caron. It is a warm and regal floral perfume with dominant notes of rose, orris root, iris and musk.

This was PREVIOUSLY a wonderful fragrance…
I really do regret to say that this fragrance does not smell anything like it should smell. There is absolutely NOTHING whatsoever that even resembles the fragrance of the Ombre Rose perfume that was a one of favorite that I bought when back in the early 90's. I wish that I could sincerely leave a better review. I was very disappointed to say the least.

Defective item
I was a regular customer until now. I had so many purchases from this site. If I had an issue with an item, I would ignore. I had many issues and they were minor issues and never stopped my unhealthy shopping pattern. Until I had this item that was defective and sent them a complaint. They did not handle the issue nor made a return despite providing evidence. No more purchases!

Disappointed
I first discovered Ombre Rose many years ago in Australia and absolutely loved it. It attracted constant compliments! I bought the Eau de Toilette to see whether the scent is as I remember it. It was not... I found it very weak and did not last at all. I so wanted to love it still but this seemed like the poor cousin of the Ombre Rose fragrance I knew

Powdered rosewood
This is the old lady perfume you put on and everyone runs from. It's simply baby powder so if you like that scent have at her. Powder and rosewood are the only notes.

I have bought this product for over forty years
I have worn this product for forty years. It is definitely my favorite scent of all I have tried. My husband at the time, once told me he could smell it out on the softball field. As the name "Ombre Rose" implies, I expected to smell different kind or varieties of roses but the rose fragrance was very weak. I don't know why it is named Ombre Rose. I won't buy again and am thinking of returning it or giving it to my teenaged granddaughter.

Nostalgic rose

This fragrance was given to me by a :very loved person in my life years ago. I always wore it when we were together.For a long time I refused to wear because it reminded me of him.
