Not good.
I maintain my fragrance in the adequate temperature, I spray it on me the right way, and it just doesn't work. I can't smell it, no body can. It doesn't matter how much I spray it still does not work. I am not using fragancex.com anymore and will let family and friends about it. Because it is not fair to purchase over $400 of product and for it not to work. Disappointed.

This product is great!! recommendations will tell you summer and summer only but this fragrance can far go into a situational beast as a Netflix and chill, city bar, and the obvious shine of a park picnic or beach bar monster no need to spray too much as it projects beastly as a well just remember with great power comes great responsibility lol

Nice fragrance that fades too fast!
I was intrigued with the notes of this and reviews seemed to be favorable. The negative things i had heard before purchasing was that it did not project and did not last long. I cant disagree with any of it. It is a GREAT and REFRESHING scent when first applied. Citrus lime and almost a salty lime at that blasted me right in the nostrils. I was EXCITED!!! I used one spray on each side of my neck at the pulse points and one on my chest. It was a warm day about 80 degrees not hot or humid . By the time i made it to work the scent had faded. It wasnt gone however it changed to mostly a milky sun tan lotion scent like a pina colada. It was definitely better than a lotion scent but very close to the skin with zero projection. I tried it again a second time and used a couple added sprays to my wrists and this time the citrus lasted a little bit longer however within 45 minutes it had totally changed into the milky sweet pina colada scent and did not project at all. 5 sprays and by 4 or 5 hours it was not noticeable at all on my skin either time ive worn it. I was a little let down. I cannot see anyone buying this at full retail. Theres just no staying power. I am not one to walk around with a decant spraying myself down every couple or few hours. This fragrance is very nice and seems almost like two different scents. However after an hour you have to make the effort to even notice them. If you have the dough to spend its a nice fragrance but be aware of poor performance.

great fragrance, but my bottle was a little lack luster
This is my favorite scent. Though compared to big store versions I can tell the bottle I received was a little old. It's very musky at first and fades away pretty quickly. Still think it's a good value but would have mailed back for a replacement if I still had the packaging. I like fragranceX a lot, but my bottle seems it was sitting in a hot warehouse for a while. It's also yellowed some. Unfortunately with these inconsistencies icant recommend such an expensive bottle right now from this site.

The real deal
This is the real deal but the smell gets tiring after 2-3 hours. I would only recommend you use this cologne if you are going to the beach or anywhere to that nature.

A lot of comments I read said it doesn't last, but I don't know what they are talking about because this is nice. Complimented by this 37 year old woman who said it's a vacation in bottle. Exhilarating
Coconut-lime-rum cocktail. And let the beach party begin! Unfortunately, longevity is not that great, so better buy a bigger bottle and keep re-applying. Though VIW is not cheap, it's the stuff that brightens up even the dullest day. Completely unisex and unbelievably exhilarating.

DOESN'T LAST BUT WHEN IT DOES, WATCH OUT
Bought a one ounce bottle and literally tore through it in a few weeks. The smell is incredible, almost addictive. The problem is that it really didn't last long. How long, you ask...maybe 15-20 minutes. I would spray it on in the morning and it would be gone almost before I walked out of the house. Bit the bullet and bought a 4 ounce bottle. Same thing, no staying power. As a testiment to how awesome this scent is, I actually bought it a 3rd time. My girlfriend was shocked that I did after complaining so much about it. Only this time I purchased the 8 Ounce flacon.I decanted it into a 3 ounce spray bottle and this time, it actually lasts for a while. I have read where different batches outlast others. My previous bottles were from 2012. This is a late 2013 vintage and it seems to be a lot better. No matter, I am sure that I will tear through this jug in a matter of months and will be back to repurchase it and also to complain about how quickly it disappears.

Beautiful Timeless Fragrance
This is a wonderful fragrance! Virgin Island Water by Creed is a great value on FragranceX. Hints of lime and coconut immediatly conjure thoughts of summer and the ocean. It is slightly overpowering at first, but then settles into a lovely fresh scent. It doesn't last throughout the day, I need to reapply at night before going out. But I would prefer that any day than something that was overpowering..

The Best Fragrance Ever!
This IS my signature fragrance....the one scent I can wear every single day and never get tired of it. The scent reminds me of sunshine, surf and tropical drinks in the classiest possible way. It's amazing balance of tart limes, creamy coconut, ginger, sugar cane,rum and the ocean. It's my Caribbean vacation in a bottle. I generally hate any perfume containing coconut, and I certainly never expected to fall so in love with this one, but the balance is absolutely perfect and not over done. My only complaint is that for the exceedingly high price of Creed perfumes, it's not long lasting at all. The scent lasts a maximum of 3 hours...if you're lucky. That being said, I still adore this scent and will probably wear it as long as Creed keeps producing it and I can afford to buy it.

Best summer fragrance
This scent is amazing. It is a fresh mix of lime and coconut that is sweet yet leaves you refreshed after smelling it. Its only drawback is that it stays very close to the body and tends to fade significantly after an hour or so after application.

Sunshine, Limes and Coconuts in a bottle
A "happy pill" in a bottle! This is my sixth Creed. Virgin Island Water deviates from the standard Creed signature. It's a deliciously light, summery fragrance. The opening notes are limes, limes and more limes. Beautiful, natural lime essences. The coconut rapidly makes its presence known and it smells like real coconut that's remarkably evocative of tropical islands and exotic cocktails. There are also some subtle floral notes in the heart (jasmine?). The only downside is its longevity, particularly the limes which disappear too quickly. But that's the nature of natural citrus oils unfortunately. The upside of that is: you have the perfect excuse to re-spray as often as you like!

I ordered it about month ago and now i can tell that it was mistake:( Scent is too weak! When i first tryed it i went to meet my girlfriend and she even didn't noticed it even when i pointed that i have new cologne! I suppose it's a problem of all Creed colognes, cause i also bought himalaya-bit better but still weak:( I agree - virgin island is unique and really intersting scent, but there are plenty of better colgnes and they'r twice cheaper...

Smell Great-Doesn't last
I spray 4 times-Nobody can seem to smell it unless they're within a few inches of where I sprayed it. Doesn't last nearly as long as other Creed Fraqrances. Am disappointed with what I spent on it for the limited lasting fragrance.I love the smell but nobody notices!

Greatest scent
Virgin Island Water is the most unique and pleasant smelling colonges I have found in a long time. It has great undertones of coconut, but isn't fruity or unpleasant. It's a little pricey, but well worth the cost. Great for the summer, but equally as good all year long!
