The fragrance opens with a fruity blend of bergamot, mandarin orange, and blackberry mixed with savory, herbal tea. Rose, geranium, lily of the valley, and jasmine make up the floral bouquet of middle notes that are at the heart of this blend. Rich and aromatic musk, cedar, sandalwood, and leather bring up the base.

Founder Randi Shinder launched the perfume brand Clean in 2003. The U.S.-based company creates unassuming fragrances centered around the simple idea of smelling clean and fresh above all else. All are fresh-themed perfumes and colognes collaborated on by the founder and at least one other master perfumer. Each fragrance is based off a different aspect of clean and fresh scents that inspire feelings of nostalgia and give the wearer an air of confidence such feelings invoke.
