This was my first love
This is the very first perfume I fell in love with. It speaks to me of Paris in the 1920s and is the precursor to Shalimar, a much heavier but more well known perfume. Jicky is light, elegant, sophisticated and quietly luxurious.

SCENT CHANGED OVER THE YEARS!!
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO GUERLAIN PERFUMES NOW?? I've been wearing Guerlain since in the 70S and over the time the perfumes have gradually weakened to being watered down & not giving the fabulous & true lingering scent it used to even 10 yrs ago. Shame on company for raising the price to expensive WATERED DOWN eau de colognes!

Totally not what I expected!!
It starts off bright and citrusy, and quickly develops into a sort of "didn't shower after the gym" scent, that morphs into the orris root, amber and musk basenotes we expect from Geurlain. The ladylike lavender and lemon-like top notes waft along during this olfactory head-trip, otherwise I wouldn't have given it a second spritz. In other words, this is the perfect scent to wear whilst doing something naughty and looking innocent the entire time.

Jicky: Best enjoyed as Eau de Parfum
Jicky is a lovely scent, classic yet current. I do not suggest the eau de toilette as it provides little sillage. Even the wearer wishes to enjoy the scent, if only just a little bit from time to time. Therefore, I suggest the eau de parfum if you, the buyer, wish a longer lasting quality to enhance the personal enjoyment of your chosen fragrance.

SOFT & UNUSUAL
I was very pleased when i saw this. I used to wear as a teenager and now in my 60s! It's a powderyTonka perfume that hits the head instantly but lingers gently. Its good for anytime the only downfall it doesnt last long like it used to. An unusual but lovely perfume.

Blind by that didn't work out
Bought this based on recommendations, but it was a risk that did not pay off. I was hoping for something herbaceous and citrus-y, but I got old lady perfume with that horrendous note of civet coming through instead. Very dirty and unpleasant.

This is a classic by Guerlain. It is the first perfume to use cumarin in the composition. The perfume opens up with a fresh citrus blast. The citrus will be replaced by an extremely powdery tonka-lavnender drydown. The powdery tonka is a classic Guerlain DNA, which you can experience the best in this perfume. This is a classic that everyone should have in their arsenal but at the same time it may come across as old smelling to somepeople.

I knew of the scent when I was just a girl of 15.
I have nothing bad to say about Jicky. I have wanted to try this scent since I was a girl of 15. This was the scent of Patty Boyd and she was the girlfriend of Beatle George Harrison. so of course I wanted to try it. Years went by and I finally found it here. It is an amazing find and finally I have gotten to try it and I am now 71 years old. It's never too late , is it. I am so happy with it. I smell so fresh and sexy. I am thrilled to have bought Jicky from FragranceX
I always use Jicky Pure Parfum. It is just a beautiful scent. I have over 100 bottles of perfume and Jicky has been in my Top 5 for years. It is a scent that when I wear it at least a few people standing near me will ask what I'm wearing. Do yourself a favor and next time you are in a high end Dept Store ask to sample it.

I worked for Guerlain and the fragrance may be used by both sexes. "First Ladies of the White House" and Male "movie stars have used Jicky.. It is not for "Women Only"....

Subtle, fresh and aromatic
I dislike the majority of heavy, overpowering perfumes. This has a light fresh top note that I think is described as aromatic, fresh and citrus with woody undertones. A bit of floral - lavender. From late 1800s and was developed then to be unisex. Not too heavy for daytime summer and good all year round. The eau de parfum doesn't hold now but at least it's subtle. I always used the perfume but now well over £200 for a small bottle.

A unique experience
I use Jicky with jeans and tee shirts as well as pretty dresses or tailored pants and jackets. It's a "go to" perfume for me. Altho created over 100 years ago it still has the power to enchant and capture. I'm so pleased I found your website because this perfume is difficult to find in the regular retail outlets. Most amazing scent I've ever encountered
Absolutely amazing scent. Definitely a unisex fragrance - it can be masculine or feminine depending on the bearing/confidence of the person wearing it. Both fresh and inviting while at the same time imparting a unique hint of dirtiness/naughtiness. Probably more of an evening scent than an office scent if worn by a man. On slightly dry, cool skin it is not quite as long lasting and stays much closer to the skin (e.g. low sillage) than something such as Bleu de Chanel or Amouage fragrances. I've tried well over 70 fragrances and NONE of them made me say 'Oh WOW!' upon first sniff the way Jicky did.

A profound fragrance that i Love
Jicky is a profound fragrance that's subtle, classy, and pleasingly distinct. So many perfumes are overpowering with only one note. Not Jicky ! Walking around wearing this perfume makes me feel well dressed even in my jeans. It truly is my signature scent and I am grateful to have discovered it. I am also grateful to FragranceX for having it in stock because it is not available in retail stores where I live.

Jicky? No way..
[$] for water. I used Jicky a long time ago decided to try it again. Poor choice this bottle is basically fragrance free.Eau De Toilette Spray is not as heavy as Eau De Parfum but this is so light it flies away. Never know its been on.I know what suits me. Also over time our likes change to the less heavy cloying perfumes.Nearly bought the Pure Parfum. Thought I give a test run with the Eau De Toilette...Glad I did.I have been getting perfume from this company for sometime and up to now have been happy with their products. What am I to think or say about this bottle? No stars.Disappointed beyond belief. Wasted money.

I first found this in DC, and decided it had to be my fragrance for my wedding day. It isn't cheap so I had to consider it carefully but it is such a special scent that no other would do for my big day. I love it and have had such a hard time finding it, I'm glad they have it here. Very Sexy Perfume
I have used this very sexy, unique, perfume since 1969. People reccognise me in a room even if they haven't seen me. I have tried other perfumes but they never seem to match up to Jicky. A fragrence above fragrences. I love it.

Wonderful lavender-vanilla union
This was my grandmother's perfume, impossible to get in the Soviet Russia. I wish she could have enjoyed it more often, but every prescious drop from her bottle was spent only on very special occasions. Here I am, another century,another country - still feeling the atmosphere of my childhood, and getting a surprizing amount of compliments when wearing Jicky. A true Classic!

My favorite fragrance for years!!!
I searched for Jicky for 14 years and have never gone without it since. I love the scent and wear it nearly all the time. It's light and somewhat lavender-y. Just a wonderful fragrance. It seems to be getting harder and harder to come by; I'm grateful fragrancex.com carries it...I got a fresh bottle a few weeks ago.

classy original
this is not a perfume that you will smell on everyone,wich i love my grand mother introduce me to this fragance when i was 4 and i had wear Anais Anais,le Parfum by Sonia Rykiel,L eau du Ciel Annick Goutal,but i always buy Jicky,it is a smell i love,and will always,if you like something not too strong and that smell like Lavender,and a little oriental with the Bergamot give a try go to test at a department store,i hate perfumes that smell like fruits,or all the singers actrices perfumes,sorry. Guerlain is a famous maker of perfume,and you can feel it in each bottle of Shalimard,Lheure Bleu,Jicky,Mitsouko,ect.
