smell of almonds
The color of the perfume was not as in the picture or video. It arrived in a dark color and with an almond scent. It's not bad, but not as I expected.

HB is fantastic by itself as a skin scent but also for layering on with other floral scents like lavender and violet If you love soft powdery old school fragrances you will love this .

I love this fragrance and the delivery was perfect as always. Unfortunately, the large bottle cannot be delivered to Germany and the 100 ml perfume is sold out.

I would buy this product again
My wife said it smells masculine, even though it is advertised for women. i love the scent of the almond and vanilla and there is a lot in the bottle for the price. Only drawback was that about 1/8th of the bottle leaked because the top was not screwed on tightly, or it might have come loose during shipping.

The opening is a hazard
The scent is in a pretty vintage bottle, inexpensive and delivered promptly. However I can't recommend it. Under the lid the bottle is sealed with a metal cap that is impossible to remove safely. I am currently nursing stitched in my hand and still have the remnants of the bottle to clear up. I asked my husband to open the other bottle purchased at the same time of a different scent in the range and the same happened. Fortunately he didn't cut himself as he'd seen what happened. The top came off again. I don't understand the positive reviews when this is such a huge problem. A scent is no use of it contains broken glass. Very disappointed. I've had good deals from this company, I collect perfume and the discounts help. This has been a very unpleasant experience. Be careful if you choose to order from Lt Piver

Blind Buy - I am loving it!!
After reading reviews of the L.T. Piver fragrances, I became quite curious. I like fragrances that are off the beaten path and I find that the older perfumes often have more distinct character, more personality. Well, at such an economical price and with mostly good reviews, I decided to purchase 3 Piver fragrances. This is my 2nd favorite of the three. I just love it! Perhaps, I smell a bit of almond and vanilla. All I know is it's a warm, soothing, quiet scent, unassuming. It seems it would be good for cool, jacket weather. Lovely with someone by your side but a companionable scent if alone, watering plants, tidying up. Or sipping a nice cognac, the music - classical. This is not your trendy everybody scent and would probably better suit those who want to take a step back and away from the maddening crowd.

Lovely heliotrope fragrance.
This scent opens with natural almandine, a rich buttery, not too sweet vanilla quickly follows. Intoxicating Heliotrope lingers throughout (8hr). The dry down is a subtle powdery orris. It's very comforting and a lovely classic gourmand.

favorite fragrance at an economical price

A great trip back in time
A fragrance that can be used at any time, with a very soft and subtle lingering quality. And how good it is to be able to sample the style of fragrance that was popular in the mid nineteenth century, although I would suspect that the formula has been somewhat updated, given the list of ingredients to be found on the box. It would also be useful as a background fragrance for anyone interested in layering members of the same fragrance family.

This is a wonderful scent of creamy and powdery heliotrope, vanilla, and almonds. Quite innocent. Great value for the price. If only it came with a sprayer, it would have been perfect. That's the only thing missing! I'm guessing that's why it's labeled as a "lotion".

This is a lovely perfume with a sweet, floral, powdery scent that is perfect for all occasions. It is a true heliotrope scent with a hint of almond background. Its a fantastic price here on Fragrance X (I've seen it for over a hundred dollars elsewhere for the same larger size), so its well worth stocking up on. The larger size comes in a big bottle, so you can decant to a small atomizer for the handbag or travel.

Very pleasant heliotrope
A genuine vintage style fragrance, simple and straightforward. The bottle is great, again pure vintage looks! This is eau de toilet strength, decent lasting power, but not too overpowering and doesn't project too much. It is not a modern fragrance, but one can still wear it as a nice floral. Not too sweet, quite feminine.

Classic gentle heliotrope, a casual, laid-back, simple fragrance. Good for layering with other floral or powdery scents. Light and unique
Heliotrope blanc is a beautiful scent--it really is like smelling a flower, there is something very natural about it. Very unique and light. The smell doesn't last at all, but for the value, it's wonderful. It's like an upgraded "bodysplash", delicious when layered with other heliotrope perfumes (I like to couple it with Versace pour Femme). I have seen complaints that the bottle is ugly--I think it is charming, an old-fashioned bottle for a classic smell.
