Notturno Fiorentino Perfume by Bois 1920, Notturno Fiorentino is a women’s floral woody musk perfume. Designed by perfumer Enzo Galardi, this scent has vanilla, aromatic, fresh spicy, balsamic, sweet, and musky main accords.
The head notes are bergamot, black currant, and pepper, with heart notes of jasmine and rose. The base notes are comprised of vanilla, tonka bean, musk, and Virginia cedar. Best for fall evening wear, this fragrance has long-lasting longevity and moderate sillage.
Based in Firenze, Bois 1920 is an Italian niche perfume house founded in 2005 by Enzo Galardi, who used his grandfather’s fragrance formulations from 1920 and reinterpreted them for contemporary use. Grandfather Guido had experimented with lavender from Firenze and opened a company in 1920, but it only lasted five years. Master perfumer Enzo trained in perfumery in 1985 and maintains the dedication to using high quality raw materials. The flacons are known for their distinctive antique apothecary shape and plain, flat-top caps. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.
This is a very interesting scent and not what I expected from this company. It's a very musky rose, not like anything I had ever smelled before. I would definitely try a sample of this before I bought it. It is not a "clean" floral. It has a lot of blurred lines; it's an amorphous cloud like fragrance that is too musky and a little too much funk for me to totally love it, but it's well made and different.
