The white floral scent folds together herbaceous tones of fresh, peppery tomato leaf with floral violet accords, pleasant boronia and sweet jasmine to create the ideal spring/summertime accessory. A hint of tangy mango adds a bright tropical note to this alluring women’s fragrance.
The scent was released in 1981 by the French company Annick Goutal. It was the first fragrance released by the company and thus contributed strongly to the house’s modern reputation for well-done floral scents. Annick Goutal imbued face creams and fragrances with the elegance she exercised as a pianist and model. Since her in death in 1999, her daughter Camille has continued to create skincare products and casual home fragrances. Folavril is stored in a gracefully tapered glass bottle with a rose gold cap and bow, all ready to adorn an equally elegant boudoir. All products are original, authentic name brands. I have been unable to buy Annick Goutal at any retail store in Canada for a number of years. I had looked on Annick Goutal's website and they are not carrying Folavril online. I had smelled it while visiting Seattle and had not forgotten how much I loved it. I was more than pleasantly surprised to find it available and at a very good price at FragranceX. The ordering and delivery were efficient. I am thrilled and love Folavril.
