Lalique was founded in 1992 by the granddaughter of artist René Lalique. The renowned glassware designer began his career in fragrance when he partnered with perfumer François Coty in 1907. Packaging perfume in beautiful glass works of art was a groundbreaking concept. He revolutionized the perfume industry once more when he invented a new process for the mass production of bottles, making fine fragrances more affordable for all. I purchased this taking a risk that it would resemble a sample that I randomly picked up at the airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico last year. It was not even close, but not bad, just a scent that I would probably wear once or twice a year. I would recommend to someone who likes this type of scent...sweet and florally, like an oriental honeysuckle, if that makes any sense!

One of my faV perfumes. It reminds me of some good old memories. Wore off within 3 hours - - - unlike the one I had in 1995. Fruity, strong, then fades off.

My Most Favourite All Time Fragrance
I stumbled onto this perfume about 15 years ago. It is very difficult to find and often gets confused with Lalique by Lalique a totally different perfume. The scent is fresh yet warm and a little goes a long way. I am thrilled to have found it again. It is especially great in the summer.
