The scent was fashioned by noses Sophie Labbe and Nathalie Lorson. Released in 1997, the French perfume Folie Douce proudly stands as a member of an old, well-established perfume house. Parfums Gres was founded by Madame Gres, also known as the “Star of Elegance”. She released her first perfume in 1958. Along with perfumes, Madame Gres also had success in the fashion world. Her garments were worn by celebrities and royalty alike. Despite passing away in 1993, the elegance with which she imbued Parfums Gres can be found stored in a classic glass bottle topped with a red floral cap. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Please don't ever stop carrying this!
I am 30 yrs old, I discovered this beautiful perfume in France 10 years ago and I didn't stop using it since then. It's becoming more difficult to find it, so I am so happy and greatful you carry it, please never discontinue it! The perfume is strong, so I only use a very small amount every morning. I still receive compliments for it in a regular basis .... it became a part of who I am really; I hope I will never have to look for another fragrance!

I Love this perfume
I feel in love with this perfume when it first came out in the late 90s. It suits any season and any occassion and always gives me a lift when I put it on. Unfortunately it is getting more and more difficult to find, so I was thrilled to find it at frangranceX, which will now always be my first port of call for perfumes, because if they don't have it no one esle is likely to.

doesnt smell as it should
i have ordered before and never felt that i was sent old out dated perfume that smells nothing like it was suppossed to smell. i feel like i threw out my money
