I would never buy this sham Calandre by Paco Rabanne.
I am so upset that I cannot find the perfume I loved all through High School. I have looked for this perfume and finally found it and was so let down I feel terrible. Not only did it smell nothing like I wore in high school but it actually smells horrible. What a disappointment.

A true classic!!!
I started wearing this fragrance in 1970, and total strangers would ask me what was I wearing. I put it once a day and it lasts all day, regardless of hot or cold weather. Just love it, because is a classic.

Disappointing indeed
I have used this product as my signature fragrance since the 1980s and never! changed to another, I could not stand another smell on me. I felt like I am addicted in a significant way. Since the announcement to stop production I bought through several different online shops but each time I encountered another disappointment. Nothing compares to the original. It is such a shame. Does anybody have a suggestion to which perfume to switch?

Once upon a time…
I started using it in 1974 when I was teenager my skin reacted in a marvellous way, everyone asking me what was I wearing. It was very delicate , but modern, it was expressive my way, " I know what I want but I'm shy". It made me feel good. Nowadays it has changed a little, because it doesn't stay very long as it use to.

Calandre by paco rabanne and Caleche by Hermes were among my favorite perfums/colognes in the 70s-90s. However, the Calandre that I received doesn't have much pizazz nor does it last long at all. It does not seem to be the same that I used to wear. I understand that Caleche is made differently now; the original is no longer available. Even though I am disappointed, I will try another product from FragranceX in the near future.

best long lasting perfume
my mom was using this perfume long ago, this perfume was hard to find, it has a sweet flowery fragrance, but not too girly, it has an exotic sense that is incomparable, i bought it for my mom, and later on for all my sisters and myself, we love it.

Timeless Calandre a trail of fresh fragrance
A fragrance that most people comment on and like. It is understated, elegant even sophisticated and leaves a gentle trail of fresh notes and scent. I first smelled it on someone else in 1973 and have used it when I can get it. An all time favourite and good value for money at Fragrance X

I bought this online and used it immediately but noticed it disappeared on me after a couple of hours so I had to keep reapplying. It reminded me of Charlie by Revlon. It's the kind of cologne you would smell from a schoolteacher or guidance counselor or maybe a woman your mom works with. It just has that certain sent to it. But overall it's not bad. I would say a cross between Charlie by Revlon and white linen from Estee Lauder
