I use Vanitas anytime I'm trying to be sexy if you can be sexy at 80 years old ha ha. I love the smell of it it makes me feel great it makes me feel sexy and sensual and at this age I'll take all I can get that makes me feel good so I love this perfume.

Vanitas is a an absolutely gorgeous scent, in every sense of the phrase. It is not heavy, it's upbeat and fresh. It is not sulky nor extremely sensual. It is worth noting- this scent does not last very long.

Bought the 0.15 mini EDT to try if I like the smell.. It's a very nice fragrance and it smells so good on me. It's very floral. A little bit overpowering at first for my sensitive nose but the dry down smells amazing. The scent stays on my skin for 4 hours but stays on my clothes for a very long time like 10 - 12 hours.

Screechy Freesia
This smells quite a lot like Jadore w/out the melon note and even more freesia. The freesia is overdone and very screechy. This also gave me a headache. I only bought the mini so no great loss. I gave it away. If you are sensitive and are prone to headaches or aren't big on freesia do not buy this.

Floral but not overpowering
I've worn nothing but Dolce and Gabana Light Blue ever since O Boticário stopped selling Linda Brasil so I was long overdue for a perfume makeover. The sample vials are the way to go. I've weeded out a dozen perfumes that I don't like. I liked Vanitas enough to buy the next size. It's classically floral but not overpowering at all, just very pretty. I wish it lasted longer, though. I can't smell it after 2-3 hours. When going someplace special I carry the vial with me and reapply. I don't like it as much the Narciso Rodriguez For Her and Ambree, which for me have far longer staying power, but still a satisfying purchase.
