I HAVE BEEN USING ARAMIS FOR ABOUT THIRTY YEARS, SINCE THE FIRST TIME I SMELLED IT. I HAVE NEVER FELT THE DESIRE TO USE ANYTHING ELSE, SINCE I ONCE BOUGHT ANOTHER COLOGNE, WHEN I GOT THE IDEA THAT MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE A VARIETY. ALTHOUGH I DID CHOOSE CAREFULLY, AND FOUND SOMETHING THAT I ACTUALLY LIKED, I NEVER USED IT, BECAUSE I DIDN'T SEE THE POINT IN USING THAT, WHEN I LIKE THE ARAMIS SO MUCH MORE. WHY MESS WITH A GOOD THING? AND EVEN THOUGH I STARTED USING ARAMIS, TO SUIT MY OWN TASTE, I FREQUENTLY RECEIVE COMPLIMENTS FROM WOMEN, WHO GET CLOSE ENOUGH TO DETECT IT. THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE NUZZLING MY NECK. BUT IT IS NOT A STRONG ODOR, THAT REEKS FROM ACROSS A LARGE ROOM. I LIKE THAT. I DON'T LIKE CHOKING ON SOMEONE ELSE'S IDEA OF A GOOD COLOGNE, BECAUSE IT IS SO STRONG, THAT IT OVERWHELMS AS THEY WALK BY, AT DISTANCES OF 15 OR 20 FEET, IN A CROWDED WORKPLACE, OR RESTAURANT.

I use it daily , and apply it, usually, after I shave, in the morning. The scent lasts for a good part of the day. I have been using Aramis since the late 60's. I am retired and approaching 90 years of age. I have received many nice compliments about the scent. The only objection that I have is that I find it difficult to obtain the item in larger containers and that would enable me to fill spray containers, as needed thus, perhaps making it less expensive.

I bought this for my husband. He tends to like stronger colognes but they bother me. He's always liked Aramis and I must admit, it's really a nice cologne. It's very masculine smelling, not overpowering and just a real nice smell.

A very definitive and appealing scent. It is rather strong so just one spray on each wrist , and a third behind an ear perhaps is plenty! Use it sparingly, and it will also prove to be ecconomical. It mellows a bit after being on for an hour or two, and is very nice indeed. It is hard to analyze what it is that makes this fragrance so appealing, even sexy... for sure the fragrance is bold and masculine, but also suave.

My husband was only able to find the aftershave at the airport. I had read so many positive reviews that I've long wanted my husband to test it simply because I'm so fed up with his unisex/sporty/trendy fragrances. I wanted him to develope a taste for something more confident, classy and masculine and thankfully he loves this one and he won't limit the use to evenings or special occasions and I don't mind at all because it's such a sexy and confident statement making fragrance!
