The initial smell is a tad bit too musky but once the smell settles you have a light manly smell. It's definitely for a mature male, maybe for your dad.
I initially bought it to smell great but I have yet to draw a compliment in the 3 weeks I've been using it. I've experimented with different quantities to see if it makes a difference but to no avail.
The value is great and the packaging is all original, which makes me confident in using fragrancex.com
Please note that I'm a college student in Orange County, so that may have a lot to do with the lack of compliments. After all, California is not known for sophistication or maturity, especially in the college scene.

I use this product daily. Sometimes when I can't shower I just reapply and it works to continue keeping me smelling fresh. I don't use a lot of cologne and lots of women stop me and ask me what cologne I'm wearing. When I tell them it is deodorant they say I smell great and they will have to get some for someone they know. Outstanding and lasts all day and no antiperspirant to make you itch! I use this product everyday. Seeems that men colognes go out of fashion rather quickly and are not available after awhile. For example Aphrodesia by Fabruge (sorry for the incorrect spelling)Try to buy a bottle of this fragrance on E-Bay and it will go for some pretty serious money. Anyways, Paul Sebastian appears to be a cologne that is here to stay for awhile and available through FragranceX.com

Every woman I come in contact with when I wear PS, always complements me and ask what it is I am wearing. It is a great ice breaker in an elevator ride when it is just me and the opposite sex.
PS was recommended to me by a very attractive college student that work as a fragrance model at one of the large retail stores in the mall back in 1990. Because of Terry introducing PS to me, I will never forget her and probably never quit wearing PS as long as it is being manufactured.

Sparcity of men's talc on market place and this one gets my wife excited. Helps you feel refreshed all day in "white colar" jobs that are stressful. Long lasting with minimal amount of talc.
