I have worn this fragrance from the 1970's and liked it at once.It is not heavy and so easy to spray on . It drew compliments from the first and still does. It is good value and I cannot understand why most British shops do not now stock it. I am so grateful to fragrance.com for having it in their stock

Cachet Perfume has been my wife's standard perfume for 20+ years. Most retailers however, have dropped this item. For those who do carry Cachet, the limited quanities make it difficult to find during the Christmas buying season. We have found White Diamonds as a suitable substitute but for nostalgia reasons I try to keep the Cachet flowing. I called Prince Matchabelli during my search for a retailer and they reccomended FragranceX.com. Excellent buying experience. A great resource for future purchases.

When I first tried this about 30 years ago, it was marketed as smelling different on everyone. I loved it and still do. It does smell different depending on my metabolism....

I used to hang out at hometown drug store in 1970's checking out their fragrances (taboo, a few others) but never really liked any of them enough to save up my money for a bottle. Upon graduation from high school, I received, in the mail, a gift from a distant cousin - a floral bag with a small bottle of Cachet perfume (dab on, not spray); bottle of Cachet hand/body lotion, seems like a small Cachet powder applicator, and a bottle of Cachet bubble Bath. I was in HEAVEN! Went to college in California and got so many positive comments. I've had a difficult time finding it over the years but am happy to locate it again on FragranceX.com. Would love to get the Cachet in a dab on perfume as it was longer-lasting. The spray is okay but I have to wait longer for the "spray" part to wear off before I can smell Cachet again.
