Instructions:

  2. Cut a 4 inch wide by 8 inch tall piece out of your cotton material and fold the piece in half.
  3. Sew 3 sides together using a ¼ seam allowance. Flip inside-out so the seams don’t show and iron it down.

  5. Fold the open seam of the bag down about ¼ of an inch and then fold it down another ¼ of an inch. Use a wide stitch to close this side.
  6. Repeat step three with the patterned fabric. Flip and iron.
  7. Put the rice bag inside the patterned bag and tie it closed with your ribbon.
