Guess 1981 Los Angeles Cologne by Guess, Designed by Christine Hassan in 2019, the cologne Guess 1981 Los Angeles is a fresh spicy fragrance that is perfect for casual wear. It builds upon woody base notes of sandalwood and vetiver with smoky hints of tobacco and a balsamic note of amber. A floral note of geranium forms the hear of the perfume, while mint and ginger add hints of spiciness. The juicy top not of plum is combined with a zesty not of bergamot to provide a citrusy overtone that is undercut with spicy black pepper. The result is a seductive, masculine fragrance that is long lasting with a soft sillage.

Guess was founded in 1977 by four brothers as a clothing company, but did not release its first fragrance until the late 1980's. The company has partnered with several brands. including Revlon, Parlux and Coty, to produce 32 unique aromas for both men and women. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Hey, everyone, Shariff Sinclair here, and today I'll be reviewing Guess 1981 Los Angeles Men by Guess. This scent surprisingly launched in 2019, but it does speak to that '80s retro aesthetic implied by the name. Spicy, fresh notes were all the rage then, and this scent contains notes of tobacco, ginger, mint, black pepper, and geranium, supported by top notes of bergamot and plum and bass notes of sandalwood, amber, and vetiver. I recommend it for any season but summer, especially at night. That's all for now. I hope you enjoyed this review. And please don't forget to follow FragranceX on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat, and please subscribe to our YouTube channel.

About Guess
The Marciano brothers were raised in the south of France, a region that cultivated a passionate understanding of French design and the essence of style. Combining a love of the American West with a European sensibility they created GUESS?, Inc.

During the 1970s, clothing design had little or no direction. People felt denim was dated and jeans were hardly considered a fashion statement. ... Read More

Great stuff......after the opening!

Smells are totally subjective, so for me I do not like the opening on this. Once it dries down and those base notes begin to kick in, this is a nice fragrance!!

Bottom Line

Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

Knock knock. Who's there? Eros. Seriously?

What's there to say? A synthetic, fruity-sweet amber that's similar to Versace's Eros, but with far less projection. Average to the last. No wonder people like it.

Bottom Line

No, I would not recommend to a friend.
