Armani Perfume by Giorgio Armani, Released in 1982, Armani is a women’s chypre floral fragrance.
The first of a prolific line of fragrances, this perfume has woody, balsamic, aromatic, and green main accords. With very long lasting longevity and heavy sillage, this scent is recommended for fall and winter days and nights. It had head notes of galbanum, marigold, aldehydes, along with bergamot, pineapple, and mint. The heart notes consist of narcissus, jasmine, orris root, rose, tuberose,
cyclamen, lily-of-the-valley, and orchid while the base notes contain oakmoss, cedar, benzoin, amber, sandalwood, tonka bean, and musk.
Giorgio Armani is a famed Italian fashion designer known for understated style and clean, tailored lines. He began his design career by working in a department store, first as a window dresser and later as a salesman in the menswear department. By the 1960s, Armani was hired to designed menswear for Nino Cerruti. After a period of freelance designing, Armani launched his brand in 1975, creating both men’s and women’s collections. As the brand grew, Armani entered an agreement with L’Oreal to create perfumes, with the women’s Armani perfume launching the fragrance line in 1982. All products are original, authentic name brands.
