Connexion Perfume by Lancome, Announced in 2003, Connexion is a women’s floral fruity perfume with fruity, vanilla, floral, musky, sweet, and
patchouli main accords. With moderate sillage and longevity, the fragrance is best worn during the days between spring and fall seasons. It starts with top notes of blackberry, cassia, and black currant, layered with middle notes of heliotrope, rose, hibiscus, and magnolia. Base notes of vanilla, patchouli, and musk finish this composition. Topped with a
translucent purple cap, the flacon is colored light purple and curved. Armand Petitjean, a businessman who had collaborated with perfumer Francois Coty until Coty’s death in 1934, and Guillaume d’Ornano founded the French company Lancome in 1935. Originally a fragrance company, the brand has expanded into cosmetics and skin care. The company launched five fragrances in 1935 at the World’s Fair in Brussels. In 1964, L’Oreal, now considered the world’s largest cosmetics company, acquired the brand, which is in its luxury products division. All products are original, authentic name brands.
