Krizia was founded in 1954 by fashion designer Mariuccia Mandelli and her husband, Aldo Pinto. The company, based in Milan, Italy, initially sold men’s and women’s fashions, accessories, and handbags. From its start, the company built its reputation from well-received fashion collections. The brand started selling fragrances in 1980 and has continuously added to the line. Mandelli, who passed away in 2015, sold the company to Shenzhen Marisfrolg, a Chinese retail group.
