accords. Presented in 1985, this fragrance, with very long-lasting longevity and heavy sillage, works best for fall and winter evening wear. The head notes begin with aldehydes, coriander, fruity notes, and bergamot. The heart notes follow with carnation, beeswax, tuberose, jasmine, orris root, ylang-ylang, rose, and geranium. Base notes of patchouli,
incense, civet, benzoin, oak moss, musk, and vetiver end this work.
Krizia is the Italian fashion brand founded in 1954 by designer Mariuccia Mandelli and her husband Aldo Pinto. The brand name comes from the character Crizia, who spent his money on clothes and jewelry for women in one of the Greek philosopher Plato’s dialogues. Mandelli successfully grew the business through the 1970s by gaining acclaim for her collections. She is also known as one of the earliest creators of very short hot pants.
